The first 3,000 public attendees will receive a free scratch-off ticket. Everyone will win something.
Prizes include over 2,000 silver Morgan and Peace dollars (certified MS-63 by Professional Coin Grading Service and Numismatic Guaranty Corp.), Eisenhower dollars, Susan B. Anthony dollars and Sacagawea dollars.
Also, show organizers will give away the newly released “P” mint uncirculated Kansas state quarter.
There will also be a second drawing for a chance to win an unspecified grand prize valued at $500.
The show takes place at One Convention Center Plaza in St. Charles, Mo. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Oct. 22, when the show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event is free to the public.
A variety of educational seminars are scheduled. They will take place on Friday, Oct. 21, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and are presented free of charge.
A live rare coin and currency auction by Scotsman Auction Co. will take place the evenings of Oct. 20-21, starting at 6 p.m. CDT.
