Old Pueblo issues token

Old Pueblo Coin of Tucson, Ariz., released a 1-ounce copper token in celebration of the company’s 30th year in business.

Rob Weiss, who started the business in 1982, has issued an Arizona Token of Appreciation, good for $2.50 in trade that can be redeemed any time at Old Pueblo Coin.

The obverse features the 1792 silver dollar design, with an inscription, “IF LOST PLEASE RETURN TO OLD PUEBLO COIN.”

It is true, United States tokens prove big things do come in small packages!

The reverse inscriptions include “CELEBRATING OUR 30TH YEAR,” “WWW.OLDPUEBLOCOIN.COM,” “$2.50 IN TRADE,” “1982-2012” and “TUCSON, ARIZONA.”

The token has a reeded edge and is made of .999 fine pure copper medal weighing a total of 1 ounce. It measures 39.5 mm in diameter and is in prooflike condition.
