IOLA, Wis. (March 26, 2012) — Krause Publications Numismatics publisher Scott Tappa will present a talk on social media and numismatics at the 27th Mint Directors’ Conference, set for May 6-12 in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria.
Titled “Going Social: Facebook, Twitter and Coins,” Tappa’s presentation will cover KP’s experience in social media over the past few years. The company has been active on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others, and is looking forward to sharing observations and guidance with the numismatic community.
“Like most businesses, we have witnessed the rise of social media and have moved to be active participants in that realm,” Tappa said. “We have tried many things that have worked — and plenty of things that haven’t worked — in using these platforms to interact with our community, and look forward to sharing our findings and learning from our peers.”
KP encourages anyone involved in coins and paper money to connect with it and other numismatic concerns.
Tappa may also be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
