New Notes Postponed by BEP

Sales of the uncirculated 2003A $2 Single Note from the Philadelphia Federal Reserve district due to go on sale June 23 were postponed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

The offering is part of a monthly sequence where up to 10,000 of the notes with serial numbers beginning 2008xxxxD are sold for $7.95 each.

Previously on the market were notes from Atlanta, New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Dallas.
