Nevada covers now on sale

Nevada Official First Day Coin Covers went on sale March 13 at the U.S. Mint with a limit of 50,000.

Priced at $19.95 each, they feature two Nevada commemorative quarters from Jan. 3, the first day of mintage ? one each bearing a Philadelphia and Denver mintmark.

Each coin cover includes the two quarters on a display card with a 39-cent Lady Liberty and Flag postage stamp. The postmark of Jan. 30, 2006, Virginia City, Nev., marks the day the Nevada quarter dollars were first released to the Federal Reserve and to the public.

To purchase the Nevada Official First Day Coin Covers, visit the Mint?s Web site at www.usmint.gov, or call toll-free (800) USA-MINT (872-6468).

Customers can participate in a subscription program in which specific products, such as coin covers, are charged and shipped automatically as each new quarter cover is released.

A shipping and handling fee of $4.95 per order will be added to all domestic orders. Allow approximately two to three weeks for delivery.
