KP staff assumes show production

Krause Publications has announced that it will assume full in-house control of producing its three Chicago-area numismatic events: Chicago Paper Money Expo, Chicago International Coin Fair and MidAmerica Coin Expo.

“We at KP and our parent company, F+W Media, have a full staff of event producers and marketers,” said KP numismatics publisher Scott Tappa. “These people have years of experience producing quality events nationwide, and many of them have worked behind the scenes on our numismatic events. We are excited to utilize their time and talents to make these events the best they can possibly be.”

CPMX and CICF are held at Crowne Plaza O’Hare. In 2010, CPMX will be held March 18-21, and CICF will be held April 22-25. The 2010 MACC, set for July 15-18, will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center.

I remember reading an article about a 1919 Buffalo Nickel that was found that was a double die. I have many of your magazines strewn about in my messy home and do not know which issue had this article in it. On the basis of the article, I looked at a 1919 nickel that I have a little closer and believe I have one with a double date that is now listed on E Bay. [ Item # 112317186120 ]. There, my seller name is “kenneth7981” Could you please write me back if you are able to find out which issue had such an article written so that I can look for the right magazine here at home? I may send you a flash memory of photos of this 1919 Nickel with some comment, and I hope your staff of knowledgeable experts can give me your take on this error coin. Thanks~! email= yovaken@gmail.com PS; It was in the last year and not longer ago.
