Jozefiak seeks seat

Longtime volunteer Richard Jozefiak has declared his candidacy for a seat on the American Numismatic Association board of governors in the 2013 election.

The Madison, Ala., hobbyist said he has spent 20 years working on behalf of the ANA at the local, state and national levels.

He said he has served as a club representative, district delegate, regional coordinator and district representative in Alabama, Florida and Virginia and has been the current ANA district representative for Alabama since 2006.

“I will work to continue the efforts and commitment to bring the ANA to state and regional coin shows, continue the outreach to members, work to increase numismatic educational opportunities and support the rotation of the World’s Fair of Money Convention to different areas of the country,” Jozefiak said on Nov. 12.
