B&M auction at Anaheim in May

Bowers and Merena is the official auctioneer for the Anaheim Coin & Collectibles Show, scheduled for May 25-27.

The show will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center, 800 Katella Ave., Hall E, Anaheim, Calif., 92802. 

?We will be offering, among other important numismatic rarities, a historically significant 1794 Flowing Hair half dime in (Professional Coin Grading Service) MS-64, a top-of-the pop 1864 Seated half dollar that PCGS has certified as MS-67, and a seldom-encountered 1855-D Liberty quarter eagle that grades AU-55 at (Numismatic Guaranty Corp.),? stated Steve Deeds, president of Bowers and Merena.

The consignment deadline for the official May 2006 Anaheim Coin Auction is April 14.

Other highlights include: an 1844-O Seated Half Dime, NGC MS-65; an 1814 Capped Bust Dime, NGC MS-65; a 1924-D Standing Liberty Quarter, NGC MS-66; a 1905-S Barber Half Dollar, NGC MS-67; a 1795 Draped Bust Silver Dollar, PCGS AU-50; an 1880-O Morgan Silver Dollar, NGC MS-65; an 1875-S/CC Trade dollar, NGC MS-63; and an 1877-CC Trade dollar, PCGS MS-63
