2014 proof silver Eagle demand jumps

Demand for the 2014 proof silver Eagle has jumped since July 26. Between Aug. 2 and Aug. 9, collectors purchased 13,742 2014 proof silver Eagles. Data from July 26 to Aug. 2 shows 24,676 2014 proofs were ordered. Sales from those two weeks are up considerably from the meager 205 2014 proof silver Eagles sold from July 19 to July 26.

The Mint sold just 737 2015-W High Relief American Liberty gold coins between Aug. 2 and Aug. 9. This is very low compared to the 36,686 sold during its release on July 30. With a total of 42,767 purchased by Aug. 9 out of a 50,000 mintage, it may be a few weeks until it sells out.

The proof 2014-W Harding and Coolidge First Spouse gold coins are listed as currently unavailable at the Mint and may be sold out. As of Aug. 9, collectors purchased 2,372 Harding and 2,316 Coolidge coins. The uncirculated versions of the Harding and Coolidge coins are still available at the Mint.
