An 1889-CC Morgan dollar in MS-61 as graded by the Professional Coin Grading Service will be a highlight in Scotsman Auction Company’s July 27 sale.
Bidders will also have the opportunity to buy six other 1889-CC coins in lower grades in the St. Louis firm’s annual Midwest Summer Sale. Online bidding for lots began July 9.
Overall, there are 1,134 lots featured, including almost 200 lots of paper money, over 300 lots of gold, ancient and world coins, tokens and 19th century proof gold.
A complete set of circulated Walking Liberty halves comprised one of the lots Scotsman is selling. The 1921 is in fine condition, the 1921-D is good and the 1921-S is VG.
This is one lot of a number of group lots the firm calls Collector Lots in the sale.
